Figurative Language

Figurative--not in its literal sense; metaphorical
Figure Of Speech--word or phrase used in a non literal sense to add rhetorical force
Imagery--mental images or figurative language
Trope--a figurative or metaphorical use of a word or expression

They all are used to enhance or be over dramatic in explaining what your saying.
